We seek a collaborative Account Director with experience in international premium fashion brands and a strong understanding of retail economics to join our International team in New York.

We seek people who:
•	Develop new international business opportunities through new market analysis, entry strategy, proposal development and relationship negotiation
•	Ensure retention and revenue growth for existing international customer businesses
•	Deliver cohesive communication of brand image and trend direction in alignment with brand strategy and in support of key brand initiatives
•	Ensure consistent representation of brand and product in international retail locations to maintain the equity and integrity of the Sam Edelman brand in each market
•	Monitor and communicate consumer behavior and perceptions and competitive landscape to develop and define market strategies
•	Develop and achieve annual sales and margin budget

We seek people with these qualifications:
•	Bachelor’s degree required
•	5+ years account management experience in fashion 
•	Existing relationships with international fashion accounts
•	Footwear and merchandising experience a plus
•	Strong quantitative and conceptual analytical abilities
•	Exceptional communication and presentation skills
•	Highly collaborative and able to partner across multiple functions, brands and levels
•	Strong understanding of retail economics including sell-through, markdown, price elasticity and gross margin
•	Extensive knowledge of both product and consumer in the luxury and designer channel 
•	Ability to travel (30%)
